FEBRUARY3, 2010 – LOS ANGELES, CA - Interscope Records artist Street Drum Corps will hitthe road with 30 Seconds To Mars on a 23 city European tour kicking off onFebruary 19^th in Nottingham, England at Nottingham Arena.  Street Drum Corps will be previewingmusic from their forthcoming album due out later this year. 

Hailing from Los Angeles, Street Drum Corps who is Bobby Alt, Adam Alt andFrank Zummo, have been called "Soo good" by the New York Post, declared "A rapturous band of misfitdrummers" by the Los Angeles Weeklyand were featured in Alternative PressMagazine’s  “Most AnticipatedAlbums of 2010” issue.  The band’supcoming album produced by Howard Benson (My Chemical Romance, All AmericanRejects) boasts an eclectic mix of the band’s trademark drumming on foundobjects and fully realized rock/pop songs with Bobby Alt on vocals.

StreetDrum Corps has performed onthe Projekt Revolution, Vans Warped and Taste of Chaos Tours, and played with Linkin Park, The Used, Motley Crue, ChrisCornell and Matisyahu, among others.

StreetDrum Corps and 30 Seconds To Mars are longtime friends and collaborators.  Bobby, Adam and Frank performedalongside 30 Seconds To Mars on TheTonight Show with Conan O’Brien in December, Bobby and Adam made cameos in“The Ride” – a short film inspired by Thirty Seconds To Mars’ track “Kings& Queens,” Frank and Bobby are each on special edition covers of This Is War and 30 Seconds To Marsdrummer Shannon Leto guests on Street Drum Corps’ album.  Catch them together on the road!

DECEMBER14, 2009 - LOS ANGELES, CA - Interscope Records artist Street Drum Corps continues to kick off the holiday season with a bang.  The band's Frank Zummo teams with Motley Crue's Tommy Lee as guests on tonight's "Loveline" with Dr. Drew.  Tune into the World Famous 106.7 FM KROQ from 10pm -midnight PST in Los Angeles or listen live online at www.lovelineshow.com. Zummo and Lee will be co-presenting and performing an epic theatrical bigbeat driven show called "Bezerk" featuring guest luminaries ChadSmith (Red Hot Chili Peppers), Jose Pasillas (Incubus), Matt Sorum (Velvet Revolver), Abe Cunningham (Deftones), Sully Erna (Godsmack) and others at theGuitar Center Drum-Off Grand Finals in LA on January 8th at Wiltern.

Corps Drum Up Two

Street Drum Corps are quite busy at the moment, attempting to finish up a pair of records.  One will be their traditional drum record, but the second is a full band album complete withBobby Alt stepping up to take on vocals for the group.  Alt tells us that acts with tribal drum sounds like Siouxsie And The Banshees and Adam & The Ants served as an initial reference point for the group and the music has evolved from there.  “We wrote 50 songs in a year that we narrowed down to 21 that we narrowed down to 15 that we narrowed down to 12, keeping in mind that we have this drum album too,” laughs Alt about their prolific songwriting spurt.  There’s no official title or release date yet for either disc, but look for music in 2010.

Longtime Motley Crue friend and fan, Frank Zummo of Interscope Records’ S.D.C. (Street Drum Corps) just performed with the legendary rockers on their 8/21 Virginia Beach, VA, 8/22 Bristow, VA, 8/23 Raleigh, NC , 8/27 West Palm Beach, FL and 8/28 Tampa, FL shows. 
 
Zummo is filling in for Tommy Lee who is nursing a hand injury. Says Zummo, “The first concert I ever saw was Motley Crue when I was a kid, and I’ve been a big fan ever since. It is a huge honor for to drum with one of the greatest rock bands, and filling in for Tommy will be one of the most amazing experiences of my life!” 
 
When not drumming with Motley Crue, Zummo is in the studio with bandmates Bobby Alt and Adam Alt working on S.D.C.’s debut double album due out early 2010.
